Job summary

JLG Industries, An Oshkosh Company, is seeking a Sales Trainee to begin a career within our North American Field Sales team. The trainee will rotate through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket and Whole goods sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, spending about half the time visiting customers to build relationships.

The program aims to equip you with skills, knowledge, and relationships to advocate for customers, with growth opportunities across a global access industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Ability to travel 50-70%.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Understand and learn all areas of JLG sales team through a rotational program.
• Work with the inside sales team to enter orders, and field customer calls.
• Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating essential company activities on behalf of the sales team.
• Partner with sales team members to ensure alignment on customer and regional needs or trends.
• Partner with sales representatives to enter customer information and configure machines that meet customer’s current and future demands.
• Analyze regional sales and order book entries to provide credible input for the forecasting process.
• Handle certain administrative tasks as assigned.
