Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Sales Trainee to join the North American Field Sales team. The program rotates through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket, and Whole Goods Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, with about 50% travel to build customer relationships.

The role aims to equip the candidate with skills, knowledge and relationships to advocate for customers, with a path into senior leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Ability to travel 50-70%.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and learn all areas of JLG sales team through a rotational program.
• Work with the inside sales team to enter orders and field customer calls.
• Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating essential company activities on behalf of the sales team.
• Partner with sales team members to ensure alignment on customer and regional needs or trends.
• Partner with sales reps to enter customer information and configure machines to meet demands.
• Analyze regional sales and order book entries to provide input for forecasting.
• Handle certain administrative tasks as assigned.
