Job summary

Johnson Controls invites you to join an 18-month Engineering Training Program with rotations across engineering and business functions in the United States. You’ll gain hands-on experience, leadership development, and exposure to top talent while working on-site at Johnson Controls facilities.

The program offers mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to advance into mechanical, manufacturing, electrical engineering, project management, or product management roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
• Preference for coursework in Thermodynamics, Machine Design, Fluid Flow, Electrical Eng.
• Ability to relocate and participate in rotations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured rotational assignments across engineering, operations, product development, and other key functions.
• Apply technical and business skills to real-world projects with cross-functional teams.
• Receive mentorship and coaching from senior leaders to build problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
• Contribute to project completion, provide status updates, and deliver a capstone project.
• Work on-site at Johnson Controls facilities and rotate to other U.S. locations as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally for training and supplier visits.
