Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft (Rotary Wing) Technical Inspector to ensure that assigned aircraft are maintained within required specifications and airworthy before operation. The role involves inspecting repairs, modifications, and complex to extreme difficulty structures and engines, and supervising inspections across maintenance actions and safety programs.

Minimum requirements include 5 years of maintenance experience, 1 year of rotary wing inspection, a valid FAA A&P license, and IA (or 5

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
• One (1) year experience performing Technical Inspections on rotary wing aircraft.
• A valid and up-to-date FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• A Valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) or minimum five (5) years as an inspector on helicopters.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections.
• Develops and implements quality control and ground safety programs.
• Evaluates personnel, training and experience.
• Performs audits and inspections of work centers, maintenance actions, procedures and facilities.
