Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I for LUH-72 A&P work in California. You will perform maintenance on helicopters, including removal and installation of engines, rotors, gearboxes and subsystems, and support inspections.

The role requires FAA A&P certification, prior rotary-wing experience, and the ability to work various shifts. Schedules vary by union CBA, with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Three years aviation maintenance experience, including two years on rotary wing aircraft.
• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Remove/install aircraft subsystem assemblies (engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls).
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
