Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspection, repair, and servicing on assigned aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR and DoD data, ensuring airworthiness and mission readiness across fixed-wing and rotary platforms. The job includes daily/turnaround inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting, and occasional in-flight checks or relocation flights.

A valid FAA A&P license, a state driver’s license, and willingness to travel are required; you may work at sites

Qualifikationen

• Must possess and maintain a valid State driver's license.
• Must be willing to subject themselves to random drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance. Note: US Citizenship required to obtain clearance.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• FAA Mechanic license with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.
• Competent in repair and maintenance of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft and systems.
• Able to read, write, and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft per 14 CFR and DoD data.
• Perform daily and turnaround inspections on all assigned aircraft.
• Perform inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting and fault isolation on aircraft systems.
• May perform in-flight checks and relocation flights as required.
• May travel to temporary duty sites domestically or internationally.
• Bring own hand tools; customer-supplied tools and test equipment may be provided.
• Travel in support of customer missions as needed.
• Perform other duties to support the overall mission.
