Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach is seeking a Room Service Associate to support the dining experience in our oceanfront property. You will assist guests with menu selections, take and process orders, upsell items, and ensure accurate billing while delivering courteous service.

This role emphasizes teamwork and guest satisfaction, with opportunities to develop upselling skills, join a renowned hospitality team, and contribute to a high-volume, luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage terminology; ability to learn upselling and order taking procedures.
• Exceptional guest service and telephone skills.
• Computer skills; ability to operate basic office equipment.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Room Service records and files.
• Stays informed of menu item availability.
• Assists guests with selection of food, beverages, wines, desserts and specials.
• Recommends items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Takes and processes room service orders promptly according to Loews standards.
• Ensures proper billing of charges to guest accounts.
• Responds to room service issues per Loews standards.
• Posts Amenity charges to guest accounts.
• Distributes amenities to servers and confirms guest room numbers.
• Dispatches bussers/servers for guest requests.
• Follows up to confirm guest satisfaction with food and service.
• Other duties as assigned.
