Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative to identify and win new customers across the Southeast region. You will travel up to 50% to meet contractors, architects and suppliers, and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing deals.

We offer a base salary of $65,000 to $100,000 with bonus potential, plus medical and dental benefits. Local candidates in GA, NC, SC, VA and TN are preferred, with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to Southeast region.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers and architects, negotiating pricing and terms within framework.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on sales and project status.
• Accurately forecast and monitor pipeline projects to meet targets.
• Manage leads, send information/samples and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare estimates and quotes for slate products in a competitive market.
• Provide ongoing account management post-sale.
