Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth in the Southeast region. You will prospect and secure new relationships with contractors, architects, and suppliers, while negotiating terms and managing the full sales cycle.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related field, have 3+ years outside sales experience, and are prepared for 50% travel across GA, NC, SC, VA, and TN.

Qualifications

• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Travel about 50% of the time; Southeast Region (GA, NC, SC, VA, TN) with local VA candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and prospecting new customers and building lasting relationships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects and negotiating within pricing framework.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to close.
• Providing reporting to leadership for sales and project oversight.
• Forecasting and monitoring pipeline to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating and quoting costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Ongoing account management from lead gen to post-sale service.
