Job summary

Baker Roofing Company seeks an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage a client base for the commercial repair division. The role emphasizes sales growth, field engagement, and strong customer relations in a roofing environment.

The position requires at least 3 years in outside sales, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work in field conditions. Comprehensive training and competitive compensation accompany a strong commission structure.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of related outside sales or business development; commercial roofing sales preferred.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and manage existing accounts in our customer base.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Provide constant communication and promote services offered by Baker Roofing Company.
• Generate leads for repair and service work through cold calling, door knocking, referrals, service hand-off, account management, and networking.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM daily for account management, scheduling, proposals, and tracking activities.
• Consult and specify roofing system repairs to meet customer needs in line with industry standards.
• Physically access roofs to estimate conditions and perform core cuts when needed.
• Participate in trade shows, architect/property manager/hospitality expos, and marketing functions.
• Assist operations with information and support project success.
