Job summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative to develop and manage a client base for the commercial repair division. You will drive sales growth, meet targets, and promote our roofing services across the Chesapeake, VA area.

The role requires field work, strong communication, and CRM usage (Salesforce). Successful candidates will have 3+ years in outside sales, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years outside sales or business development; commercial roofing sales preferred.
• License: Driver's license required.
• Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel; CRM and estimating software a plus; strong written/verbal communication; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a client base for the commercial repair division.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Promote services and maintain constant client communication.
• Generate leads via cold calling, door knocking, referrals, and networking.
• Use Salesforce CRM daily for account management, scheduling, and pipeline.
• Consult on roofing system repairs and estimate roof conditions on site.
• Participate in trade shows and marketing events; document findings in BOX.
• Support receivables and coordinate with operations as needed.
