Job summary

Sharecare is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Support Associate to assist Release of Information Specialists. You will help process requests for patient medical records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and timely data entry in secure systems.

This role requires strong communication, ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment, and familiarity with health information workflows. Prior exposure to Record Management, Excel and intranet tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience handling patient records and HIPAA awareness.
• Proficient with basic office software and secure data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Release of Information specialists with fulfillment of medical records requests.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to state/federal laws.
• Enter data and perform quality control for record requests.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve questions about requests.
• Investigate workflow issues to minimize turnaround delays.
• Identify and escalate critical issues affecting release of information.
