Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to provide on-site support for Release of Information requests at client facilities across the United States. The role focuses on reviewing requests, identifying records, and coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure accurate and timely responses.

You will log, scan, and manage ROI data in the ROI On-Line system, handle inquiries by phone or walk-ins, and adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of data entry experience in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requests to determine records to be released according to HIPAA.
• Answer inbound calls about ROI issues and log information.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax records when needed.
• Log and scan records into the ROI On-Line database.
• Handle cash payments at sites where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records and meet production goals.
