MRO Corporation is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client-site release of information requests. The role involves reviewing requestor data to determine eligible records under HIPAA, and obtaining patient data from electronic, off-site, and physical records.

Responsibilities include answering ROI inquiries by phone, assisting walk-in customers, processing physician office requests, and logging information into ROI On-Line.

Formación

• Proficient with computer applications; at least 1 year of data entry experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication; able to respond to customer inquiries.
• Attention to detail; dependable and accurate in records handling.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.
• Experience in ROI data handling in a medical setting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Determine which records to release by reviewing requestor data in HIPAA-compliant manner and locate patient information from multiple sources.
• Answer and route ROI-related phone inquiries.
• Assist walk-in customers with medical record requests and log inputs into the ROI On-Line system.
• Process physician office requests and fax information as required.
• Log and scan records into ROI On-Line; ensure data accuracy.
• Follow facility policies and regulatory requirements; may handle cash payments at some sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
