Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a talented software engineer to contribute to the Battlespace Awareness Command and Control team, focusing on path planning, routing optimization, and autonomous mission execution for real-time C2 systems.

You will prototype and deploy state‑of‑the‑art planners, support field deployments, and collaborate across teams to deliver safety‑critical, high‑performance software with asynchronous programming and robust execution in constrained environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in algorithm design, software development, and modeling.
• Proficient in C/C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience with path planning and real‑time replanning.
• Knowledge of GNC, trajectory optimization, and vehicle dynamics.
• Strong math: linear algebra, optimization, computational geometry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to small team in C2 software for path planning.
• Prototype and deploy path planning, trajectory optimization, multi-agent coordination.
• Develop real-time path planning capable of replanning as conditions change.
• Create high-performance real-time C2 software for field platforms.
• Implement planners and decision-making for safe routes.
• Analyze performance via simulations and statistics.
• Support customer success with mission-critical algorithms.
• Integrate planning tech into larger C2 stack.
• Translate progress into actionable insights.
