Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a technologist to contribute to the Battlespace Awareness Command and Control Software team, focusing on path planning, trajectory optimization, and autonomous mission execution for unmanned systems.

You will prototype and deploy advanced algorithms, develop real-time planning capabilities, and integrate planning with the broader C2 stack in field-deployed platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing real-time planning and control software.
• Strong knowledge of path planning techniques (A*, D* Lite, RRT/RRT*, PRM).
• Experience with high-performance, concurrent code in resource-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a small team within Command and Control Software to develop path planning and routing
• Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms for global/local planning and multi-agent coordination
• Develop online path planning capabilities that replan as mission conditions change
• Design high-performance software for real-time C2 systems on field platforms with asynchronous programming
• Implement planners, search algorithms, and decision-making for dynamic, contested environments
• Analyze system performance using simulations and statistics to validate behavior
• Support customer success by implementing algorithms for collaborative autonomy and routing
• Integrate path planning into the broader C2 stack from requirements to testing
