Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in algorithm design, software development, and mathematical modeling with C/C++ and/or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of path planning techniques and online/real-time replanning.
• Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and trajectory optimization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute hands-on to a small, collaborative team in path planning and route optimization.
• Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms for global/local path planning and multi-agent coordination.
• Develop online real-time path planning that replans as conditions change.
• Design high-performance real-time C2 software for field platforms and autonomous routing services.
• Implement planners, search algorithms, and decision systems for safe, feasible routes.
• Analyze system performance with simulations and statistical techniques.
• Support customers by implementing algorithms for collaborative autonomy and obstacle avoidance.
• Integrate path planning into the broader C2 stack and lifecycle.
• Translate progress into clear insights for stakeholders.
