Qualifications

• Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and mathematical modeling in C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Strong knowledge of path planning techniques (A*, D* Lite, RRT, PRM, lattice/grid planners).
• Experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and trajectory optimization.
• Mathematics: linear algebra, optimization, geometry, graph theory.
• Vehicle dynamics and control theory for autonomous platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence the direction of a small team in path planning and route optimization.
• Prototype and deploy algorithms for global/local path planning and multi-agent coordination.
• Develop high-performance real-time C2 software for mission planning and routing services.
• Design planners, search algorithms, and decision systems for safe, feasible routes.
• Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques.
• Customize algorithms for mission-critical use cases and adversarial environments.
• Integrate planning tech into the C2 software stack and lifecycle.
• Translate progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.
