Job summary

DoorDash Labs in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Operations Associate to lead an operations team focused on advancing autonomous delivery technology. You will manage a PM shift (2:30-12:30AM MST) and support testing from ideation to commercialization, reporting to an Associate Operations Manager or Operations Manager.

This is a 100% onsite role at our Mesa Operations Hub with some duties in Chandler and Tempe.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the autonomous industry or related field.
• Proven track record leading an operationally efficient team through multiple product phases.
• Experience working in cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
• Analytical mindset with ability to deliver actionable recommendations; SQL/JIRA familiarity preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a component of our operations.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues promptly.
• Serve as escalation path for field incidents, with onsite presence as needed.
• Balance business needs, costs and safety with an 'and not either or' mindset.
• Be an expert in our autonomous technology and track changes to it.
• Strive to improve metrics and contribute personally.
