Job summary

DoorDash Labs in the PHX area is seeking a hands-on Service Operations supervisor for the PM shift to lead a team of technicians across multiple sites and maximize uptime of operations assets. This on-site role reports to the Operations Manager, Service and collaborates with Service Engineering on tooling needs and field deployments.

You will coordinate shift handoffs, mentor technicians, and track KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, throughput, and SLA while ensuring safety and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in service operations, field service, or technical operations.
• 2+ years leading service technicians or field teams, with ownership of performance and execution.
• Experience with work order systems and KPI tracking (MTTR, MTBF, throughput, SLA).
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and driving results through others.
• Experience scaling operations, launching new markets, or supporting infrastructure buildouts.
• Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, electric vehicles, aircraft, or similar complex systems (preferred).
• Valid U.S. drivers license required and a successful completion of MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PM-shift team of technicians to maximize uptime of all Operations assets.
• Coordinate with Service Engineering on tooling/jig needs for field deployments of new platforms.
• Track technician productivity and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Ensure adherence to Service SOPs, including Work Order and Parts flow at local level.
• Own shift handoff with the AM Associate Operations Manager; flag open work orders, escalations, and parts status.
• Support weekend coverage and potential schedule overlaps with AM shift.
