Job summary

DoorDash Labs in the Greater PHX Area is seeking a seasoned Service Operations Leader to guide the PM shift. You will supervise technicians, ensure maximum uptime of fleet assets, and partner with Service Engineering for deployments across multiple sites.

The role requires 6+ years in service operations with 2+ years in team leadership, plus strong KPI experience. This on-site position supports a dynamic, safety-first operations culture in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in service operations, field service, or technical operations.
• 2+ years leading service technicians or field teams, with ownership of performance and execution.
• Strong experience with work order systems and operational KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, throughput, SLA).
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and driving results through others.
• Experience scaling operations, launching new markets, or infrastructure buildouts.
• Exposure to robotics, autonomous systems, EVs, or similar complex systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with service platforms like MaintainX, JIRA, or similar (preferred).
• Exposure to diagnostics, APIs, scripting, Python, GitHub (nice to have).
• Valid U.S. driver's license required and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PM shift team of technicians to maximize uptime across Operations assets.
• Collaborate with Service Engineering on tooling/jig needs for field deployments.
• Track technician productivity and adherence to SOPs, including Work Order flow and parts management.
• Coordinate development plans for Service Technicians and career paths within DoorDash Labs.
• Monitor KPIs and explain variances; manage shift-owned vs shared metrics across 24-hour operation.
• Ensure uptime of tools and equipment; oversee shift handoffs and escalation status.
