Impact Robotics — Southeast Region is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician II – Robotics to support robotic systems at customer sites. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, staging and commissioning robots, documenting activity, and assisting deployment professionals with mapping and go-live support.

This position is ideal for a mechanically and technically capable problem-solver who enjoys customer-facing work, travel, and learning emerging robotics technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in field service, electronics, robotics, or similar hands-on work.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electromechanical aptitude.
• Ability to safely use common hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and sensors.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to onsite service incidents with troubleshooting, repair, testing, and return-to-service activities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, sensor, charging, docking, connectivity, and configuration issues.
• Replace field-serviceable components and verify operation after repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and calibrations.
• Stage robots, docks, chargers, and deployment tools; document damages.
• Assist with site assessments, mapping, route configuration, and go-live support.
• Conduct route tests and document issues needing escalation.
• Train operators on startup, operation, charging, and routine fault recovery.
• Complete service reports, tickets, and photos with accurate documentation.
• Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, PPE, and spare parts.
