Job summary

Tutor is seeking a Field Service Technician to deploy, repair, and maintain autonomous robotic systems in customer facilities across North America. You will install, validate, and hand off deployments, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex electromechanical issues with direct customer interaction.

You will work closely with Engineering to improve reliability, document field data, and support upgrades while traveling up to 75% to sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, building, maintaining, or deploying electromechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new robotic systems at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, validation, and handoff.
• Perform preventative maintenance on autonomous robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls, and networking issues.
• Execute repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and field modifications.
• Support ramp-up and operational readiness after deployment.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve product reliability.
• Document failures and collect field data for root-cause analysis.
