Job summary

Path Robotics in Kansas seeks a skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment across customer sites.

You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and install/commission new robotic cells while collaborating with engineering to resolve issues quickly. Travel is extensive to support manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Technical training or associate degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience desirable, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system with robotic kinematics/dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using vision systems and sensors.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Travel up to 75%+ to customer sites.
