Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems in varied manufacturing settings. You will manage parts inventory, perform preventive maintenance, and analyze data to drive engineering-driven resolutions.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and are comfortable with programming languages.

Qualifications

• Technical training, Trade School certification, Associate degree in Engineering Tech, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable, but certifications are not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system, demonstrating proficiency in robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision utilizing robotic vision systems and sensors.
• Accurately manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells, both locally and at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to facilitate engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Inspect, clean, and replace electrical and mechanical components.
• Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time.
