Job summary

Path Robotics seeks a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems across diverse manufacturing environments. You will install, diagnose, and repair automation equipment while collaborating with engineers and customers to optimize performance.

The role requires extensive travel to customer sites (75%+), strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a passion for hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Technical training or trade certification required.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable but certifications are not mandatory.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with robotic vision systems.
• Accurately manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Gain expertise in Forge processes and operating the cell through prompts.
