Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems across manufacturing environments. You will work with mechanical and electrical subsystems, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues in real time while coordinating with engineering teams.

You will frequently travel to customer sites (75%+) to install, optimize, and service autonomous welding cells, ensuring integration with existing processes and safety

Qualifications

• Technical training or trade school certification required or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes is preferred.
• Comfortable learning and using programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system, with proficiency in robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems and sensors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution and optimize equipment performance.
• Travel to customer sites up to 75% to implement and service welding cells.
