Job summary

Path Robotics, based in the United States, is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment across manufacturing environments.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical experience, willingness to travel 75%+, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Technical training or Associate degree in Engineering Tech or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable but certifications are not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system, including robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems and sensors.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment and cells at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
