Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment in diverse manufacturing environments. You will engage in diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and optimization to ensure high uptime and performance.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise, plus strong problem-solving and collaboration with engineering resources. Extensive travel is expected (75%+).

Qualifications

• Technical training or an associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory; programming familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system with robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using vision systems and sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and document performance data for engineering teams.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and support (75%+).
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency and reliability.
