Job summary

Path Robotics seeks a technically proficient Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems in diverse manufacturing environments.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work closely with engineering to resolve problems at customer sites. Significant travel is required (75%+), with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical training or trade school certification or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system with robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using vision sensors.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot promptly.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
