Job summary

Meta is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support robotics fleet deployments. You will travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and validate robotic systems, and own failure reporting and fleet‑wide improvements.

The role requires hands‑on electrical/mechanical skills, strong documentation, and collaboration with design and reliability teams. You will monitor failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions while maintaining service readiness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on field troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical systems.
• Experience with robotics, automation, or consumer/industrial hardware.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and validate robotics systems.
• Diagnose electro‑mechanical failures across subsystems and interfaces.
• Perform repairs, part replacements, and upgrades to minimize downtime.
• Capture and communicate detailed service documentation and logs.
• Lead structured failure analysis and drive corrective actions with engineering.
