Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a growing Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair our robot fleet and electric bicycles, ensuring fleet readiness and supporting utilization goals. This on-site role requires 100% in-office presence in Sunnyvale, CA, and close collaboration with senior technicians and your manager to expand troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service work experience.
• Curiosity and an inclination for all things mechanical and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with service tooling (e.g., JIRA, MaintainX) is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and intermediate service tasks with growing independence on robotic systems and e-bikes.
• Repair common faults in robotic platforms, e-bike drivetrains, and support vehicles.
• Assist with complex faults alongside senior technicians to learn advanced diagnostics.
• Complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, and battery packs.
• Document diagnostic steps and repairs in the service management system.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
