Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Deployment Support Technician to join our Professional Services team in the Nashville area. This hands-on role covers on-site deployment, go-live support, and post-deployment optimization for AMR systems, with remote work when not onsite.

Expect to travel 50-60% across the US and Canada, supporting system validation, user training, and postdeployment stability. Flexibility for varying shifts and after-hours work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in relevant field preferred (Electrical/Industrial Automation).
• 2+ years in technical field service, industrial automation, IT/OT, or robotics.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, electrical/mechanical skills, and training experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site commissioning and integration of systems, including hardware checks and network setup.
• Complete acceptance testing and document results before go-live.
• Troubleshoot real-time deployment issues, review logs, and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and retrofits on AMRs.
• Deliver training to customer personnel on system operations and maintenance.
