Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to support on-site installation, startup, maintenance and operation of automation control systems. You may work from home or a regional office when not at customer sites, with up to 50% travel and regional travel for California’s Southern Central Valley (Bakersfield area).

You will perform startup, commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance for power and control systems, including drives, MCCs, HMIs, and networked architectures.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and manage field responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in the Bakersfield area, CA.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, start up, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Rockwell power and control systems.
• Provide startup, diagnostics, optimization, and lifecycle support for drive systems and networked architectures.
• Support OTTO AMR systems, coordinate repairs, and ensure maximum uptime.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
