Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Support Engineer 2 to join a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery. You will install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain products across your designated area, ensuring warranty and service commitments are met while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes electro-mechanical expertise, hands-on problem solving, and close collaboration with customers and internal teams to drive reliability and performance of Intuitive systems.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing electro-mechanical systems and software updates.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work across multiple sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working off hours with limited support.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all department and company policies.
• Provide quarterly review and assessment of your assigned area.
• Document service activities and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to end-users and colleagues.
• Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities such as system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, field actions, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and related equipment.
• Coordinate and perform system delivery and installation.
• Maintain HIPAA and OR protocol compliance.
