Job summary

Intuitive in California is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products within the assigned area. You will ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are met while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

The role requires electro-mechanical systems know-how, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 75% with flexibility for shifts; a related Associate degree and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and move heavy objects.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain vendor credentialing approval for OR access.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements as per vendor process.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all department and company policies.
• Provide management with a quarterly review and assessment of territory.
• Document service activities accurately and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame.
• Provide technical support to end-users and Intuitive employees.
• Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities and hospitals.
• Perform preventive maintenance, software updates, system recalls, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and equipment.
• Coordinate system delivery and installation.
• Maintain vendor compliance with HIPAA and OR protocols.
• Manage spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, and Expense Reports.
