Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in your territory. You will ensure service agreements and warranties are fulfilled while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include system maintenance, diagnostics, installation, and administrative tasks. Travel about 60% within policy; candidates should reside within 30 miles of the territory and be able to work flexible shifts as required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Field Service Experience preferred
• Good written and oral communication skills
• General computer skills
• Strong administrative and record keeping skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of scheduled maintenance activities for your assigned territory including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, system recalls, field actions, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Intuitive products and associated equipment within your specified territory in accordance with procedures and within designated timeframes
• Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation
• Competent in knowledge and implementation of OR protocol and HIPAA standards
• Complete all administrative duties within prescribed timeframes
• Maintain all Intuitive assets and tools
• Support Sales and Genesis teams as required
• Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Complete training items including equipment training and ISI University classes
• Maintain customer relations and territory management including Ibase configurations and contact records
• Travel ~60% within policy
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned
• reside within 30 miles of territory
• Be flexible with shifts as required
