Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Robotic Solutions Engineer (RSE), Field Service, to support robotic medical systems in hospital and manufacturing environments. You will perform set‑up, installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting under qualified supervision.

Required 2–3 years in field service or robotics, strong English communication, and experience with CRM tools. Expect heavy travel (up to 80%) across local/regional sites, with protocol‑driven service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of field service experience in medical devices or robotics.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO and safety expectations in regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to plan, organize, and document work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform system setup, installation and commissioning support for robotic medical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and system‑performance issues using approved procedures and tools.
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled service needs to support uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with hospital stakeholders for service visits and site readiness.
• Maintain complete service records, parts usage, and equipment inventories.
• Travel locally up to 80%; occasional longer trips as needed.
