Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Robotic Solutions Engineer (RSE), Field Service, located in West Palm Beach, FL Area. The role contributes to the Technical Field Service team by supporting robotic medical systems in hospital and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities include setup, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades, along with timely documentation and cross-functional collaboration. Local travel and patient-safety awareness are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in field service or robotics in medical devices or capital equipment.
Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software troubleshooting.
Experience supporting installation, commissioning, validation, or preventive maintenance.
Strong written and verbal English with professional hospital/customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on service for robotic medical systems in hospital/manufacturing settings.
Perform setup, installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, and de-installation per procedures.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and system performance issues using diagnostics.
Maintain service records, travel logs, parts usage, and equipment inventory with accuracy.
Coordinate with hospital staff for access, site readiness, and safety requirements.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
