Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Senior Robotic Solutions Engineer (RSE), Field Service, located in Charlotte, NC Area. You will lead service activities and develop programs to improve uptime of robotic systems.

Requires 4–6 years in medical technology, robotics expertise, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 80% locally and 20% nationally is expected, with occasional after-hours work. A BS in CS/Robotics is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, robotics or related field is required.
• 4–6 years in capital medical technology industry.
• Experience with software, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of a regulated medical environment.
• Strong teamwork and project management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement cost-effective, results-based programs.
• Design core project plans across Technical Field Service.
• Coordinate improvements to service processes and documentation.
• Recommend hardware and peripherals meeting customer requirements.
• Demonstrate setup and adjustment of complex equipment for users.
• Coach junior colleagues and communicate issues to management.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to improve uptime and MTTR.
