Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking Roaming Property Managers to travel across our region, supporting leasing, budget monitoring, collections, reporting, and compliance with fair housing and government programs.

Daily travel to sites within the portfolio will be required, with responsibilities including inspections, cost tracking, and assisting on-site teams. Access to reimburseable travel expenses is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit program.
• Strong knowledge of Real Page OneSite.
• Strong knowledge of fair housing, local and state regulations.
• Proficiency in auditing, training, and achieving standards.
• Strong MS Office skills and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites across the region to support operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, resident inquiries, rent collection, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection and notify delinquencies.
• Provide outstanding service to residents and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Monitor applicant wait lists and handle move-ins/transfers.
• Conduct inspections and supervise vendors as required.
• Travel to regional and home office trainings or conferences as needed.
