Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. seeks a Roaming Property Manager to travel between sites in Missouri, supporting leasing, budget monitoring, collections, reporting and compliance with fair housing programs. Travel expenses may be reimbursed where applicable.

You will assist multiple property teams, ensure inspections and certifications, and maintain vacancy readiness while delivering exceptional resident service across a dynamic portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with LIHTC programs and Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Real Page Onesite.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites across the region to support operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, rent collection, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours; notify residents of delinquency.
• Provide outstanding service, resolve inquiries and complete work orders promptly.
• Maintain and build applicant wait lists.
• Conduct initial lease processes with certification and annual recertification.
• Pass INSPIRE, state, and government inspections and uphold standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market units until occupied.
• Process move-in/transfer applications for approval.
• Conduct inspections, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and quarterly checks.
• Inspect and supervise outside vendors.
• Walk the property daily and supervise property management tasks.
• Organize community activities per management agreements; be on-call after hours.
• Travel to regional and home office trainings and conferences as required.
