Essenti Talent is seeking a Roadway/Utility Superintendent for Raleigh, NC, managing day and night crews on highway and utility projects across North Carolina. The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil roadway/underground utility work, with DOT project experience preferred.

Read plans, supervise crews, and coordinate with NCDOT inspectors for safety and compliance. Relocation to the Raleigh area is welcome.

Formación

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at the superintendent or senior foreman level
• DOT roadway or utility project experience, night work a plus
• Working knowledge of grading, storm drainage, water and sewer installation, and paving sequencing
• Solid understanding of work zone traffic control
• Able to read plans and specs and keep accurate quantities
• Ready to work day or night shifts as the job needs
• Valid driver's license
• NCDOT project experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 is a plus
• HCSS HeavyJob or similar field tracking experience is a plus
• Based in the Triangle or ready to relocate to the Raleigh area

Responsabilidades

• Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries
• Plan the work and hold the project schedule shift to shift
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures inside approved work windows
• Work directly with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers
• Track installed quantities and daily production
• Complete daily reports, crew time and field documentation
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and the other shift
