Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for our Raleigh-area projects. You will manage day and night field crews on highway and utility work, coordinating subcontractors, equipment and traffic control to keep schedules on track.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil roadway or underground utility supervision, DOT project experience, and the ability to read plans and specs. Relocation to the Triangle is welcome for the right candidate.

Qualifications

5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at the superintendent or senior foreman level.
DOT roadway or utility project experience, night work a plus.
Reading plans and specs; understanding quantities and work sequencing.
Knowledge of traffic control and work-zone safety requirements.
Able to relocate or reside in the Raleigh area or Triangle region.

Responsibilities

Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
Plan the work and maintain the project schedule shift to shift.
Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures within approved work windows.
Coordinate with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
Track installed quantities and daily production, complete daily reports.
