Unknown is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for day and night work in the Raleigh area to lead self-perform heavy civil crews on highway and utility projects across North Carolina and Virginia. You will manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and OSHA compliance, read plans and specs, and work with NCDOT inspectors.

This role demands DOT experience, leadership on multi-shift work, and a readiness to relocate or reside in the Triangle.

Formación

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at the superintendent or senior foreman level.
• DOT roadway or utility project experience, night work a plus.
• Able to read plans and specs and keep accurate quantities.
• NCDOT project experience is a plus.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Based in the Triangle or ready to relocate to the Raleigh area.

Responsabilidades

• Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
• Plan the work and hold the project schedule shift to shift.
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures inside approved work windows.
• Work directly with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track installed quantities and daily production.
• Complete daily reports, crew time and field documentation.
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and the other shift.
