Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an experienced Roadway/Utility Superintendent for day and night operations in the Raleigh area. You will lead roadway and underground utility crews on NCDOT projects, coordinate subcontractors, and manage safety and reporting on each shift.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil road/utility supervision, DOT project experience, and the ability to read plans. Relocation to the Triangle is welcome for the right candidate.

Qualifications

5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at superintendent or senior foreman level.
DOT roadway or utility project experience; night work is a plus.
Ability to read plans and specs and track quantities.

Responsibilities

Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and foremen.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
Plan the work and maintain the project schedule shift to shift.
Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
