Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Roadway / Utility Superintendent to oversee day and night field operations on highway and utility projects. You will manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance across shifts.

The role requires strong field leadership and DOT project experience within the Triangle area. Relocation to the Raleigh area is welcomed, with a full benefits package and a long pipeline of NCDOT and heavy civil work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway and/or underground utility experience at superintendent or senior foreman level.
• DOT roadway or utility project experience, night work a plus.
• Reading plans and specs and keeping accurate quantities.

Responsibilities

• Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and their foremen.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
• Plan the work and manage the project schedule shift to shift.
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures within approved work windows.
• Work directly with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track installed quantities and daily production.
• Complete daily reports, crew time and field documentation.
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and the other shift.
