AAA The Auto Club Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside service calls, assist stranded motorists with jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts, and safely tow vehicles when needed. This on-site role blends problem solving, customer care, and safe driving on the road.

This field-based position requires flexible hours, DOT compliance, and a commitment to safety. You will document service activity, use tablets to manage requests, and participate in required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license with minimal driving infractions/incidents.
• Must pass drugs screening, MV remainder, background check, and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Comfort with GPS, tablets, and mobile tech.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Read and interpret roadside service procedures.
• Complete AAA training programs.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests from AAA members.
• Provide emergency roadside services including tire changes, fuel, battery tests/installs, jump starts, lockout assistance.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
• Use tablets to manage calls and update requests.
• Document daily activities, service calls, logs and receipts.
• Maintain DOT certification and driving record.
• Meet goals for member satisfaction, safety and productivity.
• Support community and AAA events as needed.
