Job summary

The Auto Club Group is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside assistance calls and deliver emergency services to AAA members. You’ll perform tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts, lockouts, and safe towing on the road while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Work will be on-site and field-based, with daily documentation, use of tablets, and DOT compliance. This role emphasizes customer care, active problem-solving, and dependable driving in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass drug screen, MVRO, background and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently in the field and make quick decisions.
• Comfort with GPS, tablets and mobile apps.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Complete AAA training programs as required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside calls with a tow or service vehicle.
• Provide services like tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts and lockouts.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver high-quality service.
• Complete pre/post-trip DOT inspections and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
