Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver's license with minimal infractions.
• Must pass drug screening and MVR, background check, and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Comfortable using GPS, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to read and follow roadside service procedures and member benefits.
• Basic math and accurate recordkeeping.
• Must complete AAA training programs.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests from AAA members using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services such as tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing and installation, jump starts, lockout assistance, and minor mechanical adjustments.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following established procedures and guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver outstanding customer service during every interaction.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report vehicle maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and professional service vehicle.
• Utilize tablets and electronic devices to manage calls, update service requests, and access towing procedures.
• Accurately document daily activities, service calls, vehicle logs, and receipts.
• Maintain DOT certification and an acceptable driving record.
• Achieve goals related to member satisfaction, safety, productivity, and battery services.
• Support community and special AAA events as needed.
